iPhone Battery Replacement
Your battery isn't dying.
It's done.
If your iPhone can't make it to dinner, shuts off in the cold, or shows a Service warning in Settings, the battery has aged out — and replacing it costs a fraction of a new phone. Every iPhone from the 8 and SE through the 17 series and iPhone Air, swapped same-day when parts are in stock.

Six signs your iPhone battery is finished
Lithium-ion batteries are consumables — they wear out by design, usually after 500–1,000 charge cycles. Here's what a worn cell looks like in daily life.
Dies before the day does
A full morning charge that's gone by mid-afternoon means the cell can't hold the capacity it once did.
Sudden shutdowns at 20–30%
Aged batteries can't deliver peak power, so voltage sags under load and the phone protects itself by shutting off — with charge still showing.
Hates Denver winters
Cold amplifies battery weakness. If your phone dies the moment you step outside in January, the battery is telling you something.
Feels slower than it should
iOS quietly throttles performance on degraded batteries to prevent shutdowns. A new battery often restores full speed.
Runs warm on simple tasks
A worn cell works harder to deliver the same power. Persistent warmth during light use is a wear indicator worth checking.
Battery Health below 80%
Check Settings → Battery → Battery Health & Charging. Below 80% maximum capacity, Apple itself considers the battery significantly degraded.
Where your battery is on the curve
Why 80% matters: below that threshold, capacity loss accelerates, shutdowns become more frequent, and iOS performance management kicks in harder. If your phone is otherwise healthy — good screen, good camera, does everything you need — a battery replacement is the single most cost-effective repair in our shop. We're repair-positive for a reason: most phones have years left in them.

iPhone battery replacement FAQ
How long does an iPhone battery replacement take?
Most are completed the same day, and many while you wait when parts are in stock. Newer models with more complex adhesive and shielding can take a little longer. Call or text (303) 630-9499 before you come in and we'll confirm parts and timing for your model.
How do I check my battery health?
Open Settings → Battery → Battery Health & Charging. The Maximum Capacity percentage shows how much charge your battery holds versus new. Below about 80%, Apple considers the battery significantly degraded, and iOS may show a Service message.
Should I replace my battery at 80% health?
That's when most people start feeling real problems — shorter days, cold-weather shutdowns, throttled performance. If your phone is otherwise healthy, a new battery is one of the most cost-effective ways to get years more use from it instead of buying new.
Will I lose my data?
No — a battery swap doesn't touch your data, apps, or settings. We still recommend a recent iCloud or computer backup before any repair, as good practice with any electronics service.
Will my iPhone show an "Unknown Part" message afterward?
On some newer models, iOS displays a service message in Settings when a battery isn't installed through Apple's own system — even when the battery is high quality. The phone works normally; on certain models the Battery Health readout may differ or show that message. We tell you exactly what to expect for your specific model before any work begins. No surprises.
Why does my iPhone die suddenly at 20–30%?
Classic worn-battery behavior. Aged cells can't deliver peak power, so voltage sags under load and the phone shuts off to protect itself — and Denver cold makes it worse. A new battery typically resolves it.
What if it turns out it's not the battery?
Then you'll know for free. Our battery diagnostic costs nothing, and charging port cleaning is free for all devices, walk-in. If the real issue is a port, cable, or charging circuit, we'll show you what we found and quote that instead — your call from there.
Leave at full charge.
