Most iPhone battery replacements are done the same day, typically within 45–90 minutes. Calling or texting ahead to confirm parts for your model means you're not waiting around unnecessarily.
Check Settings → Battery → Battery Health & Charging. Below 80% is Apple's threshold for recommending replacement. You'll also see a "Service Recommended" notice at that point. Symptoms like rapid drain, unexpected shutdowns, or sluggish performance are also reliable indicators.
Battery replacement is a hardware-only swap that doesn't affect your data under normal circumstances. That said, we always recommend backing up your iPhone before any repair — just as good practice.
Almost always yes. A battery replacement can restore hours of daily use for a fraction of the cost of a new phone. The main exception is if the device has significant other damage or is too old to run current software effectively. We'll give you an honest read on whether it makes sense before you commit.
It can be. A swollen battery expands inside the chassis and physically pushes the screen outward. Stop using the device and don't charge it. Bring it in as soon as possible — swollen batteries are a safety issue and the longer they're left, the more secondary damage can occur.
Third-party battery replacement may affect any remaining Apple manufacturer warranty on the device.
