Data & Safety
Is my data safe during a repair?
Yes. We never access your personal data during hardware repairs. We're fixing physical components — not browsing your photos or messages.
We still recommend backing up your device before any repair as a best practice, since hardware work carries a small inherent risk of data loss. We will always tell you upfront if any specific repair carries a data risk.

Can you recover data from a broken or water-damaged phone?
In many cases, yes. We offer water damage diagnostics and data recovery evaluations. Bring your device in for a free assessment — we'll tell you what's recoverable before any work begins.
Important: Do NOT try to charge a water-damaged device before bringing it in. Powering a wet device causes short circuits that can make data recovery impossible. Time matters — bring it in as soon as possible.

What should I do if my phone got wet?
1. Turn it off immediately. Do not try to boot or charge it.
2. Do not put it in rice. This is a myth and can cause additional damage.
3. Bring it to us as quickly as possible. The sooner we assess it, the better the odds of saving the device and your data.
We'll evaluate the damage and tell you what's possible before starting any work. Call (303) 630-9499 if you have questions before coming in.
