What changed · and what it means on the bench

Our finest unibody of work. Now in our hands.

Apple rebuilt a lot this year. Here's the hardware that matters when something breaks — and how we approach each piece.

Variable-aperture Main camera

Six laser-cut blades on a rotor — the most mechanically complex camera Apple has shipped. We treat the camera module as precision optics during any repair: isolated, protected, and tested at every f-stop before pickup.

Ceramic Shield 2 front, Ceramic Shield back

Apple claims 3× the scratch resistance of the 16 Pro up front. Tougher glass is great news — but when it does crack, it's still glass bonded to an aluminum unibody, and that's exactly our specialty.

Smaller Dynamic Island

Redesigned to show three Live Activities at once while keeping Face ID. Screen work on the 18 Pro means respecting the Face ID hardware stack — we've done it on every Pro since the X.

A20 Pro + next-gen vapor chamber

A 2-nanometer chip bonded straight to a vapor chamber with 3× the surface area. Thermal paths are part of the repair now — reassembly has to respect them, and ours does.

Biggest battery leap yet

Up to 45 hours of video on the Pro Max and 50% charge in about 15 minutes. Batteries still age — when yours does, a proper replacement brings the headline numbers back.

Camera Control & Action button

Two physical controls on the frame, both repairable. Stuck or unresponsive buttons are diagnosed before anyone talks money.

Pricing

Greatest of hour time.Prices: coming right up.

We post real numbers, not guesses. The 18 Pro is brand new, and parts supply is still opening — so every price below is marked TBD until we can stand behind it.

Even Apple can't sell these parts yet.

As of today, iPhone 18-series parts aren't listed in Apple's own Self Service Repair store — the supply chain is still spinning up for the whole industry. The moment we can source panels, glass and cells at a price we trust, it goes on this page. Until then: call ahead and we'll tell you exactly what's possible this week, no runaround.

Questions

iPhone 18 Pro FAQ.

Do you repair the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max yet?
We're taking them in now for diagnostics, port cleaning, water-damage triage and data work. Screen, back glass and battery replacements depend on parts supply, which is still opening industry-wide — call ahead and we'll confirm exactly what's possible for your phone this week.
Why is the pricing TBD?
Because we don't post numbers we can't stand behind. Apple's own Self Service Repair store doesn't list 18-series parts yet, and early-supply pricing swings wildly. As soon as we can source quality parts at a stable cost, real prices go on this page — same honest tiers as every other iPhone we fix.
Will my repaired 18 Pro keep Face ID and the camera features?
That's the standard we hold every repair to. We've preserved Face ID on every Pro since the iPhone X, and the variable-aperture camera is handled as precision optics — isolated during the repair and tested at every f-stop before pickup.
Is Ceramic Shield 2 really harder to crack?
Apple rates it at 3× the scratch resistance of the 16 Pro, and tougher glass is genuinely good news. It's not unbreakable — corner drops onto concrete still win — but you'll likely see fewer hairline scratches. When it does break, it's glass bonded to an aluminum unibody, which is exactly what we do.
Can you replace just the back glass?
That's our plan — we remove shattered iPhone backs with a fiber laser and bond color-matched glass. For the 18 Pro it's waiting on glass supply in Burgundy, Glacier, Silver and Black. See how the process works on our back glass page.
Should I just go to Apple?
For a brand-new phone under warranty or AppleCare, sometimes yes — and we'll tell you when that's the smarter move. For out-of-warranty damage, accidental drops, and anything Apple won't touch, an independent shop with 15 years on Apple hardware is usually faster and kinder to your wallet. Call and we'll give you a straight answer.
What about the iPhone 17 or older?
Every generation has its own page with full pricing — start at the iPhone repair hub. The 17 series and iPhone Air are fully priced and parts are on the shelf.

Call ahead to confirm parts.

One quick call tells you what's possible for your 18 Pro this week — and gets you a real quote the moment parts land.
